They were visionaries, leaders, and place-makers and were seen as such by their communities. With the rise of the Developer, control over the industry dwindled and with it came the rise of poor Urbanism. The Architect as Developer model seeks to reverse these trends by putting the Architect back in control of the decision making process that impacts our built environment. By practicing as both the architect and the developer, we eliminate the client and streamline the process to creating better environments for people to dwell.
