With the first property in the ADDvirtue portfolio we sought to revitalize a 1923 farmhouse with a rich history in the neighborhood. The existing home is located on a busy mixed-use street that serves as a corridor between two popular neighborhoods and is touted as one of the most walkable neighborhoods of Salt Lake City. Due to it's location on a busy corridor, we saw the potential for a well located short-term rental that would minimize disturbance to the existing neighbors, encourage guests to minimize their use of a car, and support the many local mom and pop businesses that populate the street.
As the neighborhood continues to densify over the years we'll re-evaluate the property to look for ways to add density and businesses that further contribute to the growth of the neighborhood. But for now - we're happy to add the economic boost that this popular short term rental gives to our neighboring businesses.
